Vanuatu Forex License

The Vanuatu Forex License is regulated and supervised by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC). A license that gained a lot of respect and interest in recent years mainly due to the low operational cost, more lenient requirements and tax incentives.

The beautiful Republic of Vanuatu that one can only describe as paradise on earth, is located in the South Pacific Ocean, to the east of Australia, west of Fiji and north of New Zealand. Although the constitution of Vanuatu doesn’t allow selling land to foreigners, new provisions of 75 year leases introduced by the government over the last decades, brought a lot of foreign attention.

The Vanuatu Forex License is actually a Securities Dealer license, and its application can be prepared and submitted by an international company or individual that must be a Director/officer of the company.

How to apply?

The Vanuatu Forex License application will undergo the following steps:

• Step 1 – Company registration and incorporation
• Step 2 – Preparation and submission of application
• Step 3 – Conditional approval, issue of the Security Bond certificate (capital requirement)
• Step 4 – Bank account setup and Professional Indemnity cover
• Step 5 – Final approval, commencement of operations

Basic KYC requirements for the Vanuatu Forex License shareholders/directors:

• Certified Passport Copy and utility bill
• Updated CV and proof of academic qualifications
• Original bank reference letter
• Original non-bankruptcy certificates and criminal records

The Shareholder can be a legal person. Minimum 1 director with 5 years of experience and relevant qualifications. Meetings can be held outside Vanuatu.
